NWC Facilities Management Pty Ltd commenced operations in 1998 and in conjunction with Norwest Catering Pty Ltd (NWC), we currently provide Integrated Catering, Camp and Ancillary Services to ChevronTexaco at its Barrow and Thevenard Island Oil Production Facilities.
We provide services to a modern 257 person accommodation facility with full recreational and wet canteen facilities on Barrow Island, as well as a 31 person accommodation facility on Thevenard Island.
Since 1973, Norwest Catering has continuously provided Catering and Camp Services to the Barrow Island Facility, originally managed by West Australian Petroleum (WAPET).
(In February 2000, Chevron took over from WAPET as the operator of these facilities and in January 2002 Chevron and Texaco merged to form ChevronTexaco which now manages the Barrow and Thevenard Island Facilities.)
Since 1995, we have expanded our scope of services from the “traditional” catering and janitorial role to include;
The above services are in addition to providing full catering services, based on three meals per day to all personnel and includes provision of nightshift and project catering services and janitorial services to all camp, recreation and field locations on site.
NWC currently employs some 30 personnel, dependent on activity and has a very stable, experienced and highly skilled work force and a strong management team, both site based and in our Perth Office.

In particular, our Christmas Menus for the past thirty years have become famous in the Northwest of WA for the quality, variety and presentation of cuisine.
